DAVE JOHNSON | upper school math & science teacher

First Year at ACA: 2020

Dave Johnson is a third-year math and science teacher in ACA’s upper school. Inspired by the classical model of education, Dave loves evoking wonder in students to help form wisdom, virtue and eloquence. Dave has graduate degrees from Iowa State University and Duke University. He is a National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) trained Outdoor Educator and has taught and led programs for a variety of public schools, colleges and churches. 

He deeply enjoys sharing wilderness experiences and outdoor activities with others.
