Interested in sending your child to Augustine Classical Academy? Below is an outline of our admission procedure. The first-round priority enrollment deadline for the 2018-19 school year is February 15, 2018. However, we continue to accept enrollment paperwork after this date. ADMISSIONS PROCEDURE (Preschool & K-12)
Admission Policies: Augustine Classical Academy admits students of any race, color, national origin and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admission policies, scholarship programs, and other school-administered programs. However, we reserve the right to prioritize placement of applicants into available openings according to any of the following criteria:
- Sibling enrolled in ACA
- Boy/girl ratio
- Space availability
IMPORTANT DATES FOR THE 2018-19 ACADEMIC YEAR:
December 1, 2017 — Enrollment application available (new families)
January 8, 2018 — Tuition assistance application available (K-12 only)
February 2, 2018 — Re-enrollment contracts distributed, at latest (current families)
February 15, 2018 — Re-enrollment contracts due (current families)
February 15, 2018 — Deadline for first round enrollment for all families* (returning families are given precedence)
February 16, 2018 — Rolling enrollment period begins
March 1, 2018 — Tuition Assistance application deadline (K-12 only)
March 7, 2018 — Confirmation or acceptance letters are mailed (all families)
March 7, 2018 — Notification of tuition assistance awards (K-12)
August 8, 2018 — Back-to-School event (Edgewater preschool)
August 9, 2018 — Back-to-School event (Lakewood)
August 14, 2018 — First Day of School (Tuesday)
August 20, 2018 — Parent Info Night (required)
November 16-25, 2018 — Thanksgiving Break
December 19, 2018 – January 6, 2019 — Christmas Break
January 7, 2019 — Classes resume (Monday)
March 22-31, 2019 — Spring Break
May 23, 2019 — Last day of classes
*applications are accepted on an ongoing basis if space is available.
Step One: Schedule a tour or attend an Open House
Tours are available Monday-Thursday from 8:45-11:00 AM, and Open Houses are held the first week of each month. For Edgewater preschool, Open Houses are the first Tuesday of each month from 8:45-11:00 AM. For Lakewood, Open Houses are the first Wednesday of each month from 8:45-11:00 AM.
Step Two: Complete Paperwork
Please complete the following forms in the registration packet and return to the office prior to your enrollment date. The registration packet can be picked up at the school, printed on-line, or we can mail you a copy. Please note, we are unable to accept incomplete paperwork.

Step Three: Student Assessment (K-12 only)

Step Four: Family Interview
The family or parent interview is a vital part of the admissions process. Once all paperwork and testing is complete, we meet with both parents (and students applying to 7th Grade and up). The interview provides a time for us to get to know one another more personally and for you to ask questions.
Step Five: Enrollment Confirmation
We will send you an enrollment confirmation letter within two weeks of your family interview indicating whether we would like to partner with you in your child’s education.
- Tuition Deposit: $450 for K-12 families, $250 for Preschool & Pre-K families
Step SIX: Set Up Tuition Payment Account
All families are required to make tuition payments through FACTS management services. Those with payment plans (except payment in full) will incur an annual fee of $43. To set up a FACTS account, please click the button below.
PLEASE NOTE: Parents of current K-12 students: you will be receiving a re-enrollment contract by February of each year. Please do not fill out the application available below. (But also note: Preschool families must fill out a new enrollment application each year before entering Kindergarten.)
