Admission Procedure

Interested in sending your child to Augustine Classical Academy? Below is an outline of our admission procedure. The first-round priority enrollment deadline for the 2017-18 school year is February 17, 2017. However, we continue to accept enrollment paperwork after this date. Please contact us if you have any questions.

ADMISSIONS PROCEDURE (Preschool & Grammar School)

Admission Policies: Augustine Classical Academy admits students of any race, color, national origin and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admission policies, scholarship programs, and other school-administered programs. However, we reserve the right to prioritize placement of applicants into available openings according to any of the following criteria:

  • Sibling enrolled in ACA
  • Boy/girl ratio
  • Space availability


  • January 4, 2017 — Tuition assistance application available

  • January 26 — Open House and Registration event

  • January 27 — Re-enrollment contracts distributed, at latest

  • February 6 — Tuition Assistance Meeting (required for aid applicants)

  • February 17 — Re-enrollment contracts due

  • February 17 — deadline for first round enrollment for all families* (returning families are given precedence)

  • February 27 — Tuition Assistance application deadline (Grammar School)

  • March 6 — Confirmation letters are mailed out for new families

  • March 6 (or within two weeks of application if applying after first round enrollment) — Acceptance letters mailed

  • March 6 — Notification of tuition assistance awards (Grammar School)

  • May 1 — Late Enrollment Begins

  • August 1 — Late Enrollment Testing Day

  • August 10 — Back-to-School Open House

  • August 15 — First Day of school (Tuesday)

  • August 28 — Back-to-School Parent Meeting (one or both parents, no kids please)

  • November 17-26 — Thanksgiving Break

  • December 15, 2017 – January 2, 2018 — Christmas Break

  • January 3, 2018 — Classes resume (Wednesday)

  • March 23-April 1, 2018 — Spring Break

  • May 24, 2018 — Last day of classes

*applications are accepted on an ongoing basis if space is available.


Step One: Schedule a tour or attend an Open House

Tours are available Monday-Thursday from 8:45 – 11:00AM, and we will be hosting an Open House on January 26, 2017 from 9:00-11:00 AM. Please contact the school office at to set up a tour.  You can also call (720) 446-6286 to set up a Grammar School tour, or (303) 233-3531 to set up a Preschool tour at either our Lakewood or Edgewater locations.

Step Two: Complete Paperwork

Please complete the following forms in the registration packet and return to the office prior to your enrollment date. The registration packet can be picked up at the school, printed on-line, or we can mail you a copy. Please note, we are unable to accept incomplete paperwork.

✓ Signed Philosophy statement

✓ Emergency Contact Information (included in both G/U and Preschool application packets below)

✓ Medical Release Form (included in both G/U and Preschool application packets below)

✓ Food Allergy Emergency Care Plan (if applicable)

✓ Immunization Record

✓ Copy of birth certificate or passport

✓ Copy of health insurance card

✓ Student Academic Records

Step Three: Student Assessment (Grammar School only)

If applicable, please contact the office at or (720) 446-6286 to line up a time for testing to be completed.

Step Four: Family Interview (Grammar School only)

The family or parent interview is a vital part of the admissions process. Once all paperwork and testing is complete, we meet with both parents (and students applying to 7th Grade and up). The interview provides a time for us to get to know one another more personally and an opportunity for you to ask questions.

Step Five: Enrollment Confirmation

We will send you an enrollment confirmation letter within two weeks of your family interview indicating whether we would like to partner with you in your child’s education.

  • Tuition Deposit: $450 for new Grammar School families, $250 for Preschool families


PLEASE NOTE: Parents of current Grammar School students (Kindergarten-and-up): you will be receiving a re-enrollment contract in February of each year. Please do not fill out the application available below. (But also note: Preschool families must fill out a new enrollment application each year before entering Grammar School.)
