early childhood lead teacher | lakewood campus

Nicole was raised in Georgia and moved to the Denver area in 2015 to serve with Storyline Fellowship in Arvada. Before moving to Denver, Nicole received her B. S. in Elementary Education, M. A. in Education Administration and Supervision, and her Ed. S. in Curriculum and Instruction. In addition to her teaching role at ACA, Nicole serves as the Children’s Ministry Volunteer Assistant at Storyline Fellowship.

The 2017-18 academic year is Nicole’s thirteenth year as an educator and third year at ACA. Before coming to ACA, Nicole spent 10 years teaching first grade in Georgia. She also used her passion for teaching at Oakwood Baptist Church in the preschool department as a preschool teacher. Her favorite thing about teaching is seeing a child’s face light up as they learn.

Nicole is looking forward to teaching for her third year at Augustine Classical Academy, and continues to be excited about the outdoor activities Colorado offers. She also loves to return to Georgia, where she spends time with her family, especially her two nieces.
