Amanda Rodriguez was born and raised in the corn-filled plains of Central Illinois. She attended Centre College, in Danville, Kentucky and received her B.A. in English from Centre College in 1998.
For four years, Amanda taught language arts, United States history, government/economics, and journalism at Brush Ranch School, a boarding school outside of Santa Fe, New Mexico. For many summers during college and her early teaching years, Amanda worked with children at Camp Henry near Grand Rapids, Michigan. There she served as a counselor, high ropes director, off-site trip director, and chaplain.
Amanda has been involved with Augustine Classical Academy since its early days in 2011. Amanda and husband Gabe have been married since 2003 and have two kids, Sam and Elener, both ACA students.
