Notification of Planned Absences

 

When families choose to take vacations or have other planned absences while classes are in session, it is the parents' responsibility to let ACA know by emailing attendance@augustineclassical.org four (4) school days before the absence to:

  • Notify teachers of dates students will be missing school

  • Request teachers assemble assignments/work the student will need to complete while absent

Without notification at least four (4) school days prior to the planned absence, homework will not be given and will not be able to be made up. Assignments will be due upon return to school per handbook policies. Tests will be taken upon return to classes unless previous arrangements have been made with the teacher.
