First Year at ACA: 2026

For Dr. Falls, teaching science is about more than facts and figures—it is about helping students discover God’s beauty and design in His creation, while cultivating a genuine love for truth. She strives to live with gratitude and wonder, bringing that same spirit of curiosity into the classroom as a fellow lifelong learner.

Dr. Falls earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Seattle Pacific University before completing her Doctor of Optometry degree at Illinois College of Optometry, graduating with honors.

Before stepping into the classroom, Dr. Falls practiced as a primary care and co-managing optometrist. Caring for and educating patients gave her a deeper appreciation for the intricacies of God’s marvelously ordered world. After taking time away from her career to be a stay-at-home mom, she returned as a substitute teacher at Augustine Classical Academy, a role that ultimately led to her current position teaching Life Science and Biology.

Happily married for 15 years, Dr. Falls and her husband, Josh, have the privilege of raising three growing boys. Outside the classroom, she enjoys reading, researching, hiking, singing, spending time with family, and having a cup of tea—preferably with a baked good—a tradition passed down from her Cornish grandmother.
