Grace Hody | Composition and Humane Letters

First Year at ACA: 2025

With over 14 years of teaching experience, Grace brings a diverse background in education and a deep commitment to Christ-centered teaching. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and a Bachelor’s in Teaching English as a Second Language from Liberty University, as well as a Masters of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Her teaching career has included a wide range of subjects—primarily English—and roles such as instructional coach, where she mentored fellow educators and supported student achievement. Particularly passionate about the classical Christian model, Grace values the holistic approach to forming both the minds and souls of the next generation to know and love the Lord.

Grace is committed to teaching in a way where students are challenged to think deeply, love truth, and can experience the compelling love of Christ in the classroom. She recognizes each student learns at a different pace and strives to build confidence in every learner, facilitating an environment for each student to flourish in how God has uniquely made them.

Grace considers it a privilege to partner with families and the church in nurturing students who are grounded in Scripture, shaped by virtue, and equipped to engage the world with God’s grace and for His glory.
