Kayla Hooper | Events and Administrative Coordinator

First Year at ACA: 2025

With over 20 years of management positions, primarily in operations and executive management, Kayla thrives in environments where she can care for, support, and love others towards Christ through organization, service, and hospitality. She has a Bachelor of Science in Child Development with a minor in Psychology from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.

Kayla was first introduced to classical education in 2008 when her husband, Justin Hooper, was a teacher at a classical school start-up on the coast of California. Once introduced to classical education, both Justin and Kayla knew that it was a beautifully holistic model of both serving and teaching students and families not only educational content, but also a love for investigation and exploration where imagination and intrigue join beautifully with truth and virtue. The Hoopers have two children entering ACA in 2026 for their early education years. Kayla is thrilled to be part of the Christian classical education model as a staff member and even more so as a parent knowing students at ACA are receiving an education that overtly holds the mind, body, and spirit together as it pursues the knowledge and character of Christ.

Originally hailing from Minnesota, Kayla (who still calls a bagel a “bag”-el), found her way to Colorado in 2015 with her husband of over 15 years, Justin, who took a music teaching position at Valor Christian High School in Highlands Ranch. Colorado feels like home now to both Kayla and Justin as well as their incredible boys, Charlie and Henry, and fur-baby, Hula Hooper (named proudly by Justin). You will find their family hosting events, riding bikes, playing music around town with our band, learning all they can about trains and cars, playing at parks, sampling all the local coffee shops, and dreaming of the adventures that await them as they do life with Him.
