Cindi Krebs | Reading Specialist

First Year at ACA: 2026

Cindi earned her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Regis College in 1986. Her passion for helping struggling readers began when her own son faced challenges with literacy. That experience inspired her to pursue specialized training in the Wilson Reading System, Linguistic Remedies, and EBLI (Evidence-Based Literacy Instruction). Over the past 20 years, she has had the privilege of tutoring students and helping them become confident, successful readers.

For the past 24 years, Cindi has also taught at Two Roads, a homeschool enrichment program, where she offered a wide variety of classes. Among her favorites were Colorado History and AmeriTowne.

As the grandmother of an ACA student, Cindi has come to appreciate the richness of a Christian classical education. She is delighted to join the ACA community and considers it a joy to help students develop the reading skills that enable them to fully engage with and benefit from that education.

Cindi and her husband, Jay, have been married for 43 years. Jay is a former chaplain at the Denver Rescue Mission and now serves as pastor of Good Shepherd Bible Church. Together they are the grateful parents of four adult children and the proud grandparents of six grandchildren—two girls and four boys.
