Suzi Lyons | ACP Assistant Teacher

First Year at ACA: 2026

Suzi’s first impression of the classical Christian education model blew her away and she wished she could go back to school with that foundation.

She is from Oklahoma and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism and Broadcasting from Oklahoma State University. Suzi grew up dancing and was also a member of the Pom Squad at OSU. Shortly after graduating, she moved from Oklahoma to Colorado where she worked in the pharmaceutical industry. She married her husband of 22 years and they have two children. Their son attends the University of Arkansas and their daughter attends ACA. Suzi left her pharmaceutical job after 10 years to stay home with their son, and it was such a blessing. She was able to volunteer at school and church and loves sharing Jesus with children.

A classical Christian education is so valuable, and their family has seen the fruit of that through their son’s education. Suzi considers it a gift that she can be at ACA working with children.

In her free time, she loves being a dance mom for her daughter’s competition team, traveling, baking, volunteering, doing anything outdoors, reading, Bible studies, and spending time with friends and family.
