Veronica Balachander | Homeschool Co-op Teacher

First Year at ACA: 2023

In her role as Homeschool Co-op Teacher, Veronica aspires to work diligently to disciple and equip her students to grow in their faith and overall knowledge. Veronica received a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at Brownsville. Shortly after, she pursued a Master of Science degree in Organizational and Human Resource Development from Abilene Christian University. After graduate school, Veronica was drawn to a teaching position at a charter school in Texas. The time she spent teaching Spanish and serving as Language Department Chair was one of the most rewarding experiences of her career. Veronica loves being in the classroom teaching students and being their trusted advisor!

Her family has been a part of the ACA community for the past four years where her son, James, has been a student. The Balachander family enjoys cooking a variety of foods, especially Indian and Mexican cuisine, but they are open to trying any new foods! They look forward to getting to know new families and sharing a good meal with them.

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
