Adrienne Gillespie

Adrienne was born and raised in sunny Southern California. Although she spent most of her young life there, she also lived in Indonesia for a couple of years before her family moved to Maryland. She received her bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Pensacola Christian College and began teaching Kindergarten in 1995. She then moved back to California with her husband and began teaching Kindergarten at a small private school there. She has a passion for children and has spent time as a children’s ministry director at a church in California, and teaching grades 1-3. Adrienne has always found joy teaching children to read, helping them develop a love of God’s Word, and giving them an understanding of how much God loves them.

Adrienne and her husband Chris have been married for 27 years and moved to Colorado in the Spring of 2020 for Chris to serve as a pastor in Denver. They have 3 children, Brooke (25), Graham (23), and Brennan (18). They are truly enjoying the hiking, scenery, and food that Colorado has to offer. Adrienne is excited to be a part of ACA and to see how God uses her in the lives of the students she has the privilege of teaching.
