Helen Trujillo is originally from Santa Fe, NM and is the youngest of nine siblings. Helen was a stay-at-home mom for 12 years, raising her children, before returning to college. She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in math from Grand Canyon University. Since then, she has been in the classroom for 11 years teaching primary and middle school grades.
Helen and her husband Isaac have two children, Jonah (22) and Kiki (16). The Trujillos love their two dogs, a boxer (Champ) and an old Sharpei mix (Kaya). Helen enjoys cooking, games, reading, baking, and working on random arts and crafts projects.
Helen is thankful to join the ACA family. Her goals are to create a classroom atmosphere that encourages students to think, to share her love of reading and learning with her students, and above all, to share her love for God.
