Ariahn Knoedler | Music Teacher

First Year at ACA: 2022

A Colorado native, Ariahn Knoedler studied Piano Performance and Spanish Literature and graduated from the University of Colorado in 1998.  Shortly thereafter, she married her best friend from high school, Matt, and they moved to Washington D.C. where she began her career in the brokerage industry.  After 10 years in the industry and a move back to Colorado, Ariahn made the decision to stay home with her children. She has served as an accompanist for Christ On the Mountain in Lakewood for over 20 years, worked with children's choirs in church and throughout the Denver/Metro area, and was thrilled to join ACA in 2022. She highlights the beauty of music with her grammar students through a rich exposure to folk music in the grammar years and an increasing exposure of the great classical composers and more complex musical concepts in logic and rhetoric schools.

In her free time, Ariahn enjoys baking pies with her four girls, reading, and road biking with her husband.

Miss no single opportunity of making some small sacrifice, here by a smiling look, there by a kindly word; always doing the smallest right and doing it all for love.” St. Therese of Lesieux
